A visitor sent us a photo of Himurogatake saying, "I managed to capture a cloud that looks like the dragon god." The visitor visited the mountain twice and took a photo each time.
Himurogatake is a sacred mountain where it is said that the great god descended, and it has long been known as "Ichigan-san," where the belief that "if you make just one wish, it will come true" has been passed down.
ご参拝いただいた方から「龍神様のお姿のような雲が撮れました」ということで日室ヶ岳の写真をお送りいただきました。こちらへは、2度お参りになり、それぞれ撮影されました。
日室ヶ岳は、大神様が降臨されたとも伝わる神体山で、「一願さん」と呼ばれ「一つだけ願い事をすれば叶う」という一願成就の信仰が古くから伝えられています。

Since ancient times, it has been regarded as the "sacred mountain of the former Ise Inner Shrine, Koutai Shrine.
It is said that God descended from the mountain, and there is a place of worship on the approach leading from the Koutai Shrine.
It has long been forbidden to enter the mountain, and entry is basically prohibited.
It is also called "the most beautiful pyramid in Japan" because of its beautiful cone shape.
It is said that on the evening of the summer solstice, a mysterious scene can be seen as the sun sets over the summit from the shrine.
Ritual sites from the Jomon period have been found in the vicinity, and it is said to have been the object of worship since the Jomon period.
『日室ヶ嶽』 一願成就
古来より「元伊勢内宮 皇大神社の神体山」とされてきた
・神が降臨したと伝えられており、皇大神社から続く参道に遥拝所がある
・古くから禁足地とされ、基本的には入山を禁止されている
・美しい錐形を成していることから「日本一美しいピラミッド」とも云われる
・夏至の日の夕刻には、遙拝所から山頂に太陽が沈む神秘的な光景が見られるとされる
・付近から縄文時代の祭祀跡が発見され、縄文時代から信仰の対象になっていたとも云われる
